Membership FAQs

Q:  When are BCAC's Chapter meetings?

A: Chapter meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month from September to June at 10:00am.  Exceptions to these dates occur in the months of September and June. In September, the chapter meeting is held the 2nd Saturday of the month to allow the chapter members to act as the official volunteers of the Baltimore County African American Cultural Festival which is always held on the 3rd Saturday in September. The date of the June chapter is determined at the beginning of each sorority year to accomodate our annual Juneteenth Festival and National Conventions/Regional Conferences. The  attire is business unless otherwise specified. Black business attire is worn at the September and June chapter meetings.

Q:  Where are BCAC's Chapter meetings held?

A:  Chapter meetings are held at the Randallstown Community Center, located at 3505 Resource Drive, Randallstown Maryland 21133.

Q:  What do I need when I come to my first Chapter meeting?

A:  Please bring your membership card and a valid picture I.D. If you do not have your membership card, a BCAC soror who is present, may affirm your membership. If there is no BCAC soror present to affirm our membership, you will be instructed by the Sergeant-at-Arms to complete the Verification of Membership form. This form will be remitted to the Financial Secretary for verification by National Headquarters. Once verification has been received from National Headquarters, you will be admitted to the Chapter meeting.
